Smoothie bowls has to be one of my favourite breakfast meals. They are super easy to make, nutritional and well balanced and the perfect on the go meal.

Another added benefit is that you can stack your smoothie bowl with a wide range of super food, ensuring that you get the best possible start to your day.

Some of my favourite things to add to my smoothie bowls are

Chia seeds – Loaded with the most essential fatty acid plus one serving is loaded with magnesium, iron, calcium and potassium
Plain Greek yogurt – Chock full of protein and probiotics.
Blueberries – Filled with fiber & Vitamin C also high in antioxidants
Strawberries – Vitamin C Superstar! Just one cup is enough to meet your daily Vit C requirements
Honey – Strengthen the immune system, blood sugar regulation
Ground Flaxseed – High in Fiber and Omega 3 fatty acid & supports digestive health

Some of my favourite smoothie bowls are:

Berry & Honey Delight Smoothie
1 x cup plain Greek yogurt
½ cup strawberries
1 x tablespoon coconut oil

Blend together

Toppings:

Blueberries
Chia seeds
Raspberries
Honey

Skin Glowing Smoothie

1 x cup plain Greek yogurt
1 x banana
½ cup blueberries
½ cup strawberries
1 x tablespoon ground flaxseed

Blend together

Toppings:

Blueberries
Chia seeds
Goji berries
Honey
Pumpkin seeds
