Gluten Free Orange & Rosemary Cake

This Gluten Free Orange & Rosemary Cake has to be one of my favorite recipes! You will not regret making this. Best enjoyed with a nice cup of tea

Cake Ingredients

1 cup Lemcke Almond Flour
½ cup Lemcke coconut flour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
125 g coconut oil (melted till liquid)
2 tsp orange zest
1 tsp dried rosemary
½ cup coconut sugar or Eat Naked raw honey
3 eggs lightly beaten
½ plain Greek yogurt

Orange & Rosemary Syrup

2 tsp orange zest
1/3 cup orange juice
3 tbsp. Eat Naked Raw honey
1 Sprig Fresh Rosemary

What to do

Preheat oven to 170 degrees. Grease loaf tin.
Mix all the dry ingredients together. Add the remaining cake ingredients and whisk until well mixed.
Pour batter into tin and bake for 35 – 40 minutes ( or until a knife inserted comes out clean)
Remove from oven and prick holes into the cake, allow to cool while you make the syrup.

To make the syrup

Simmer all syrup ingredients for 3 – 5 minutes, allow to cool slightly and poor over the cake.
