Healthy Moms Inspiration

This week’s Healthy Moms Inspiration is Veronica Botes, Wife and stay at home mom of two gorgeous kids.  Who found her way to a healthier fitter lifestyle with the help of Crossfit. The transformation of this lady is so inspiring and just shows us that anything is possible if we put our mind to it

I asked Veronica to share her journey with us and tell us a bit more about how she leads an active healthy lifestyle.


When and why do you choose to live a healthy lifestyle?

I do it for my husband, I want to look and feel good for him. I also want to show people that you are able to look and feel good even after becoming a mom.

When and what workout do you do?

I CrossFit 3 times a week and on weekends I try to run or participate in a 5 or 10 km race.

What inspires/ motivates you to keep up your healthy lifestyle?

My husband and children. I want to make them proud and they are my biggest fans. Also, women, to show them that it is possible to raise a family and take some time out to look after yourself.

What advise would you give to other moms who want to lead a healthy lifestyle but feel they don’t have the time or knowledge?

Just start…You owe yourself to look after your body. Start with walking or a little jog every day, even if it is just half an hour. It’s hard to start but you will feel so good and rejuvenated after.

    Her body looks ten years younger 😊. I’ll take a peak at her instagram profile.

    I don’t do cross-fit or running. Running hurts my ancles. But, I tried the hanging rings at my martial arts school and It’s fun hanging in the air, using your core to balance.
